  • w10pro - Windows 10 Pro

Atlas Editions​

Atlas versions are optimized Windows builds:

VPS Requirements​

Minimum Specifications​

  • RAM: 2GB minimum (4GB+ recommended for Server editions)
  • Storage: 30GB minimum (40GB+ recommended)
  • Virtualization: KVM or compatible
  • Architecture: x86_64 (ARM64 experimental)
  • OS: Ubuntu or Debian (any version)

Network Requirements​

  • Public IP address
  • Root SSH access (port 22)
  • Stable internet connection
  • No firewall blocking port 22

After Installation​

  • Windows RDP: Port 22 (not standard 3389)
  • Username: Administrator
  • Password: Your chosen RDP password
  • Why Port 22?: Ensures compatibility with all VPS providers

Requirements for Any Provider​

Your VPS must have:

  • Ubuntu or Debian OS
  • Root access
  • KVM virtualization
  • Public IP

Boot Type Support​

WINUX automatically detects and supports:

  • BIOS - Legacy systems
  • UEFI - Modern systems
  • ARM64 - ARM processors

No manual configuration needed!

Choosing the Right OS​

For Personal Use​

  • Windows 10/11
  • 2GB+ RAM recommended

For Servers​

  • Windows Server 2019/2022
  • 4GB+ RAM recommended

For Testing​

  • Any Windows version
  • Minimum specs acceptable

Not Supported​

Currently does not work with:

  • OpenVZ virtualization
  • LXC containers
  • IPv6-only servers
  • NAT VPS (limited support)
